Saan ang bata na meron ang remot ng buhay ko?

Hello everyone I've decided I want to find out where the little kid
who has the remote of my life is so I can tell him to stop hitting
fast forward. This week has flown by and yet another transfer is here
but I'll get to that later.
Monday. Just your average P-day getting things ready for the week we in
the evening went to visit the Obilios but they weren't there we then
went to the Ibay family instead. The father accepted a message. They are
a supper receptive family but they seem supper set in there ways of
all religions are right I'll keep on going to the catholic church.
Every day I hope and pray that they will feel the truth and come to
church.
Tuesday, we had district meeting then the zone leaders came to
inspect the house we had found for sisters they said it was to small
(it was tiny) but it was the only one we could find. After they left
and we had had lunch we went and to Puntar Sur for no one to be there.
Wednesday We went out and searched for an apartment. We literally did
findings and testifying of Christ for a solid 2-3 hours trying to
find an apartment and nothing, no houses, no rental places, other than
individual rooms. So then in the afternoon we went to Caliat and
visited Nanay Rosalina she was supper receptive she loves every thing
we say and it makes sense to her. We had a lesson about the gospel of
Jesus Christ. We then tried to visit some other people but they were
all to busy with the corn harvest right now so we started walking
back to a different area. Only for this nice Toyota truck to pull up and
the owner to roll down the window and in perfect English say where are
you going I can give you a ride? We talked with him the entire 30
minutes to where we were going. Found out his name was Gift he was from
Zimbabwe and has lived in the Philippines for 5 years. He was willing
to accept pamphlet but he didn't understand Tagalog only English and we
didn't have English pamphlets so we got his number to visit another
day. We then went and found 2 different apartments in the other elders
area (with permission from the district leader). Then later that night
at about 8 went to president Obeleas house (the elders quorum president
in the branch and one of the most active ministering brotheren.)
Thursday We went and visited brother Joey. He is progressing so
well. He has great questions and he is extremely driven to be baptized.
His soon to be wife is a member and he really wants to be sealed with
her and to live with her and their kids forever so he is supper exited
about baptism and everything that can help with getting ready for
that. He is being extremely careful though to make sure that
everything is right. He takes very seriously the commitments he makes
and I absolutely love the lessons with him. We then went to Santole. We
had one lesson and got a call from the recorder saying she couldn't
access the pictures that we had sent earlier that day so we needed to go
all the way back to Balaoan and resend them. So we then returned and
spent the next 30 minutes figuring things out with her. We then went
back to Santole and walked the entire known area down there and had
none of our investigators accept a message because they're busy
with the harvest. We then went down to Butubut Sur. On the way back
home and visited the Ramose family they were supper exited to see us
accepted us in.
Friday being the last Friday of the transfer we spent the first
half the day cleaning the apartment and getting ready for the transfer.
We then went and visited brother Many. Brother Many had a completely
different attitude this time. He seemed almost exited to see us. He still
can't accept that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Book of
Mormon is true scripture. So we had a good lesson about that. We then
went and visited Roney and Reque there was 6 boys down there and we
started teaching Roneys cousin and he seemed super interested in what
we had to say so we arranged to meet with him and his family next time
we went down there. We then went down to Brother Joey and had a really
good lesson about the Holy Ghost and Endure to the end. He accepted
finally the invitation to be baptized and the date of March 2nd his
nephew to is getting ready for that day.
Saturday. We had a packed day we went down to Caliat. We had a
lesson with a less active named Lance and his friend that was really
good. Lance seemed supper exited to see us he said once the corn
harvest was over he would come back to church but right now was super
busy. We then had a lesson with Norman. Brother Norman was super
receptive. We shared the importance of the BoM and prayer. We then had
a really good lesson with nanay Rosalina she was supper receptive we
shared about pray and its power to help families, because that is one of
here big concerns, her family. That night we got transfer calls Elder
Rencher was transferring and no one else. This is my 4th transfer here
with my companion just about 6 months now. Then they told us that the
new elder was going to be Elder Adams from my batch so I got super
exited about that.
Sunday We had sacrament meeting we had one of our investigators
there so that was good we had a really good day in Puntar Sur Puntar
Norte.
my spiritual thought this week comes from Jacob 2: 16
O that he would rid you from this iniquity and abomination. And, O
that ye would listen unto the word of his commands, and let not this
pride of your hearts destroy your souls!
If you have something that you know you need to repent of and we all do
because we all are normal people the only perfect person to live is
our savior Jesus Christ I would encourage you to repent althogh it
often is not an "abomination" it will weigh you down and keep you from
reaching your potential.
Thank you all for all your love and support. I know this church is true
I know Jesus Christ lived and suffered for our sins and loves each of
us perfectly I KNOW with out a doubt this.

ano Nangyayary nasa mission ko

Hello every one this week has been kinda hectic and a lot has happend but, I'll try to keep it short.
Monday we went to the falls in San Gabrial the most beautiful waterfall in the Baguio mission, according to lots of people, for a zone activity. It was great a short walk, but with very steep climb to get back, but absolutely amazing and worth it. After that we had our average p-day. That night we went out and was punted but had some little kid come up to us and tell us that the missionaries had taught their family in the past but that they didn't any more there family was at a death but said come back another day.

Tuesday we went to Butubut Norte and had all of our investigators not be there because they were working in the field because right now it is in the middle of corn harvest season. But then towards the end of the day we went to follow up on a referral Sister Hazel and she quickly welcomed us in her dad was home and the dad quickly had every one sit down. We had a really good lesson on the restoration the the Gospel of Jesus Christ . They seamed to really get it and accepted the invitation to Pray to know if the prophet Joseph Smith is a prophet.
Wednesday we went down to Caliat one of the farthest north areas in Baloan there we had lesson with sister Rosalina a nanay that we found one day and a few days later when we returned she was asking questions about Joseph Smith. (Really good golden questions) and asked for more reading about our religion. We shared the Plan of Salvation with her because she had lots of questions about her and her husband. She was supper receptive and we gave her the Book of Mormon she accepted the invitation to pray to know and to read the Book of Mormon she was supper exited about that. We then went and had a lesson with Brother Norman. He and his sister are supper amazing supper nice. We shared the Plan of Salvation with them because they had just had someone close to them pass. They were supper receptive and accepted the invitation to pray to read too.
Thursday we went to Santole we had a lesson with a brother who only speaks Ilikono that was hard because neither me or my companion speak Ilikono. We then went and tried to visit some other investigators but they were busy in the field (cursed corn) so we went to go visit some other investigators in another barangay. On our way up we saw some people banging the dry corn that had been removed from the husks for pig and chicken feed. We stopped and helped them. This was fun and was an great opportunity because some people who before weren't open to talk with us later saw us and started asking us questions. Then later that evening we visited the Acosta family We shared the restoration with them they were supper receptive and accepted the Invitation to be baptized and the invitation to pray to know and to go to church so this was a great lesson.
Friday We spent most of the day in the Byan (main town) doing findings and trying to find an apartment for sisters here so that was hard. We had a good lesson with some old investigators the Camiging family. Then we returned to brother Joey That was Really good it is obvious he is paying attention to his commitments

Saturday we literally spent all day walking and only had 4 lesson most of them new people because people were to busy on Saturday.
Sunday was pretty good fast Sunday

My message this week is from 2 Nephi 35 verse 5
5 And now, if the Lamb of God, he being a holy, should have need to be baptized by water, to fulfill all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be baptized, yea, even by water!
Remember that our perfect brother needed to be baptized therefor we have so much greater need being imperfect. I encourage you to pray to your Heavenly Father to ask For confirmation of this then take the steps to prepare yourself for baptism
