Loko loko lingo

Hello every one this week has been kinda crazy because of a few things, but we will go into  that later let's just say it has something to do with the preachers still.
    Monday After we were finished with the regular pday activities like cleaning laundry and shopping we went out and went house shopping. We are currently trying to find a house for sisters for next transfer. This is crazy impossible here. But we are trying because president has asked us to. We then went and visited Jared our baptism on Saturday we had a really hard lesson because his uncle came in drunk half way through and started going on and on about the hard things in the life of Jared to the point that Jared started crying so we quickly wrapped up that lesson and went home.
      Tuesday We went out to Butubut este and visited some people. We visited the Ibay family and had a really good lesson there. Brother Dioney is such an honest seeker of truth he is always asking how to know that he is receiving an answer and so we are having lessons about the spirit and how it works and how you know you are feeling the spirit. We then had a lesson with brother Juanitio that was a really good they are reading and want to know if it is truth.We then visited Jared and had a good lesson with him because Brother Joey was back with sister Jenifer.
      Wednesday we had a really  rough day we had lots of people reject us but we had a really good lesson with tatay Roghilio and then went and found some new people down in Pagaan because no one was willing to except us for  a lesson so we just worked and found some people and tried to find an apartment again with no success.
       Thursday we had rough day of finding we had more new investigators but went and visited people in Puntar sur puntar norte. We were sad because our really good investigator sister Luella wasn't available. and had the interview of Jared.
       Friday We had a good lesson with brother Maney That was a really good lesson he always has good questions. We then had a good lesson with the Ibays That was pretty good The lesson about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Saturday  We had the baptism Of Jared and had a Good lesson with some new investigators
    Sunday was crazy we had a spike in church attendance we had people we haven't seen in church my whole time here in Balaoan so this was crazy and makes me supper happy and one which is one of the members of the church that is mad at us showed up so ya that was crazy and supper nice. We then attended the fair well of one of the members who is leaving for the the Brazilia Brazil mission that was supper exiting because shes been waiting to leave since July to leave and she finally was leaving.
My spiritual thought comes from Jacob verse  6
6 Wherefore, we search the prophets, and we have many revelations and the spirit of prophecy; and having all these witnesses we obtain a hope, and our faith becometh unshaken, insomuch that we truly can command in the name of Jesus and the very trees obey us, or the mountains, or the waves of the sea.

I would encourage you as General conference approaches again search the words of the prophets so that your faith can become unshaken

Galit Preachers

Hello every one This week has been crazy and kind of hard. But we must be doing something right because we have 2 preachers mad at us. But we'll talk about that later.

      Monday We had a good p-day. We made a cake then got every thing we needed to do we then went out at the end of the day. We went out to Butubut Norte and the people were not there. So we then went to the plaza and visited Jared, the person that we are preparing for baptism and had a really good lesson with him.

     Tuesday  we started off with our regular studies, we then went out and as we left we got a text from one of our investigators saying that they weren't aloud to entertain different religions so we were crushed by that because they were really good investigators. So we go down and visit some other people but they were busy. Then went to go to Butubut norte, and as we passed they were outside and we of course say good afternoon is it ok if we come in. We visit with them and they invited us in to have a snack. We ask if we can share a message and they say ok.  We then have an amazing lesson about the Book of Mormon and I could feel that they were feeling something. We then went and tried to visit some other people then went and visited our upcoming baptism.

Wednesday we went down to Caliat and tried to visit some of our regular investigators but brother Norman wasn't there Romel and Reah wasn't there so we went to Paagan and no one was down there we did findings this whole time we then walk to Butubut norte and had a good lesson with sister Hazle and her family. We then visit some other people but there was no one there we then visited our up coming baptism

      Thursday  We went to a wedding visited brother Anjelino and had a really good lesson about some of his concerns and helped him. We then walked the whole of our Santole crooy area trying to visit and teach lessons to our investigators down there but they were busy or not there.

Friday we went down to Puntar norte and tried to visit sister Luela but she wasn't there so we tried to visit Rooney our recent convert but he was busy so we tried to find people to teach and to find a apartment for sisters.

Saturday we returned to Butubut norte and Visited brother Joney and the Ibay family had a really good lesson about the Holy Ghost and the power it has to answer questions. We then went and visited some people in Butubut norte then returned and tried to visit the Arsiaga family but there preacher was there and tried to bash us we politely declined it was fun.

Sunday we went to puntar sur caliat and most of our area down there and there was no one down there so we tried to find people to teach and visited our upcoming baptism Jared. Here we had the other preacher that wasn't there on Saturday stomp a crossed the road and told us not to visit the Arsiaga family in butubut este so ya we got a preacher mad at us.

So that was my week I know my work is of God Thank you all

Hello every one sorry for the lack of an email last week the church
was doing mass work on the missionary emails so no one could access it.
So a few different big things happened last week that I think I should
tell you about 1 missionaries now can call there families every week if
they desire to. So I now have the opportunity to call my family every
week. 2 one of my investigators got married to there girlfriend who
is a member. So that was a amazing opportunity for them. They are now
looking forward to being able to be sealed in the temple for time and all eternity.

This week was great we met sister Luela that was great. She absolutely
loves the Book of Mormon. We continued preparing brother Joey for
baptism this Saturday (the investigator who got married) We had so many
good lessons. But then we spent so many days almost just walking with
no one answering the door, so that is great. It is in the middle of
tobacco and corn harvest so we are looking forward to when its over so
we can talk more. We try to help but we can't most of the time.
Friday we had zone conference this was great  I learned so much I love
hearing from president and we got more information on getting to call.
This was amazing I absolutely love this week. I love the people here.
Sorry this weeks email is shorter I hope to get it longer next week,
but I'm a little short on time. The people here are amazing and I love
them we have some great investigators here.
I know this is the true church and what I am doing what God wants
me to do. I invite you to pray and honestly search for yourself to
know what the Lord wants for you.

 Ethan is on the back row far right in his zone conference. I just love seeing his smile!

Elder Washburn in the second in from the right on the back row. He served in our ward while he was visa waiting and Ethan was waiting to go to the MTC. It was so wonderful to get to know him and hear him pray in Tagalag while we were waiting for Ethan to go start as well! I love trying to keep tabs of where he is in hopes their paths will cross again. So far they haven't but I get to see pictures when his President posts pictures.
