Elder Davis Baguio Philippines : Bagong area

Hello every one so this week has been a great week in my new area so here we go.

Monday we went out and visited some of the returning members close to the apartment this was amazing the members are exited to see us and have us there. We shared about enduring to the end and all the blessings that comes from enduring to the end. The spirit was strong that the promises of enduring to the end are true.

Tuesday, we went out to a barangay called Pantoc there we met in with a family of members the Minas they are amazing missionary minded family. We arranged to teach one of the interested people at their house. They were supper willing to help and were exited to help arrange that. We then went and taught one of the first lessons to one of our findings brother Toney he was supper nice we shared about our purpose in helping others come to Christ through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We had a good lesson and I felt the spirit testifying about the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ the 5 points Faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end I know they are important and it is how we can obtain eternal life. We then had a few lessons with a few other people in the area and at the end of the day we had dinner with the bishop in the ward. We disused with him some of the needs of the ward and how we could help. It was amazing and we had a great dinner.

Wednesday we went out to one of our farther away areas Parparay and found a bunch of returning members and visited one of the perspective elders. He was exited to see us and even said next time we came out to text him and he would work with us it was so amazing. We shared the "Come Follow Me" lesson for this week and invited him to church and to watch general conference.

Thursday We went out to a Barangay called Orince and visited sister Nora. Sister Nora is the wife of a member and is supper receptive. She had her friend there and we had the opportunity to teach her as well. We shared about the prophets and apostles about the priesthood that they have it was a great lesson.

Friday we had weekly planning then went out and went into a new barangay did some finding at one point we did a finding to lesson on the family and how through our teachings the family can be forever. We then at the end of the day shared with a entertaining message about the family is without end,

Saturday we started our district fast for our progressing investigators and then went out and visited some of the returning members in orence and had an unplanned service opportunity and helped clean up an area for a wedding. We then went and taught one of our solid people were teaching sister Hana we had a really good lesson there about the last 2 points in the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was great she had good questions and was supper interested.

Sunday we had church after church went out to the farthest area and did some findings there.

So that was our week it was pretty good I saw the Lords hand in my work this week. Thank you all for the encouragement and emails.\
