A carabao ate my companions bike!!!!

Hello everyone this week was so crazy and yes you will hear about this carabao thing but that's later on.
Monday we went to Candone for zone sports we had fun with chair soccer then came back to Santamaria emailed and went and got some stuff for our bikes then went back to Narvacan got our hair cut then shopped and went home, cleaned the apartment, and fixed my companions bike.
Tuesday we had district counsel in Narvacan and I gave the workshop about helping people make and keep  commitments. This went well. We then had lunch and went home to plan and prepare for the day. We went out to Parparaya. Unfortunately the people we wanted to visit weren't there so we went out and did some finding. We found several people who were supper receptive and had lots of questions so we had a great lesson with them and we look forward to returning to visit them again. We then went and tried to visit sister April and Joanna the recent convert of the sisters and the on solid person with a baptismal date, but because they hadn't kept there commitments again, we told them we would return on Sunday if they kept there commitment. We then went and visited the Banyo family. Nanay had started reading and they all were supper receptive we had a great lesson with the whole family about the blessings of reading and praying they committed to read and pray about the Book of Mormon. Then as we went to leave we found that someone had moved our bike to the other side of the tree we had locked our bikes. We quickly found out why the Carabao that was close to the tree that we thought couldn't reach our bikes, or if it could it wouldn't do anything to the bike, had started to eat the cable that controlled my companions front gear changer therefore his front gear was on the very bottom gear and wouldn't go up. So ya his already Frankenstein bike was now dead.
Wednesday we went to Candone and started our exchanges with the zone leaders. This was cool I got to go and work in Candon. I got great opportunities to help resolve concerns, then in the evening we went and visited an eternal investigator (because of the Word Of Wisdom). As we walked up he was drunk and he was like elders kill me you kill me I have something to give you kill me. Then when went to leave he was hugging us over and over again until we finally dragged ourselves away to leave.
Thursday we went to Narvacan to close our exchanges. This was good, in the afternoon we went out into Dasay. We went out and just did findings this was great we ended up finding several past investigators. Sister Edith was an old interested person who we can't figure out why she was dropped because she was supper interested. Then sister Kimberly was supper interested too so it was great. We know we will be returning to them. We also did lots of finding and had lots of interested people that liked the message we shared about the restoration, about the blessings for the family and how our loving Heavenly Father does everything to help us so it was great, because they were interested and wanted us to return. So we will be requesting this to see what is required.
Friday We had a district attack and went and did a tone of findings in one of the areas of the sisters this was great we were able to help them, and see lots of interested people. Then in the afternoon we went out to an another municipality called Santa on special assignment from bishop to visit one of the members brother Lestor. We went out there and the area was beautiful in order to get the barangay they live in is on an island surrounded by  an island and the ocean so we had to cross an unfinished bridge then hop another trike to get there. It was great. The lesson with him was great his wife turned out to be not a member but she wanted her family to become one religion and was supper receptive. The member had lived in a big city before and had been two blocks away before, and so he and his full family had gone to church and been taught as a family. The mom had been supper close to baptism but then they moved. So we have another lesson  set up and they are exited for us to come and visit them again. We then went home and got home about 7:30. Both me and my companion look at each other and started talking about possibility of having a group there because there are so many people who were supper interested but things are just so far
Saturday we had a csp in the morning helping build a carport for the second counselor in the stake presidency. Then we went out and picked up the Assistant of the president for his last Sunday and then visited a family he was close to.
Sunday we had a great lesson in Sunday school about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Then in the afternoon we spent the day with a member triking around visiting the people that Elder Davies, the assistant that was here, so we had a great day and got fed twice giant lunches so we felt almost sick. Then in the evening went to visit Sister Joana and April and had a great lesson with them. Mostly just her asking questions about things she had read in the Bible. So this was great.
So all and all we had an okay week even though things were were good even though things are hard.
This week my spiritual thought comes from 1 Nephi 4 verse 20-22

20 And after I had done this, I went forth unto the treasury of Laban. And as I went forth towards the treasury of Laban, behold, I saw the servant of Laban who had the keys of the treasury. And I commanded him in the voice of Laban, that he should go with me into the treasury.
21 And he supposed me to be his master, Laban, for he beheld the garments and also the sword girded about my loins.
22 And he spake unto me concerning the elders of the Jews, he knowing that his master, Laban, had been out by night among them.
Just as the servant of Laban thought that Nephi was Laban others with think we are something or someone or a type of person by what we "wear" and by that I mean what we do and what we say there for we should strive to have the right "clothes." therefore my invitation for you all is to do things that will help you suit the right "clothing"  strive to be an example so that people will see you in the way that our Heavenly Father wants us to be here.
Thank you for all of your love and support

Inspecting the eaten bike!

Chew marks on the bike... (p.s. Mom thought a Carabao was a dog... She thought I was using a Tagalog word she didn't know.... because she did't know that a Carabao is a water buffalo that is common here and it was just tied up in the persons yard. Which is also common here. When she told me this when we got to talk I laughed pretty hard!)
